The F117 and PT6A engines power fleets of Boeing C-17 transport aircraft and Pilatus PC-7 trainers flown by the Indian Air Force. The C-17 has been used heavily in recent months for medical repatriation flights for India citizens during COVID-19. The Indian Air Force and Navy are in the process of renewing several of their fleets. In consideration are the PW100-powered Airbus C295 light transport for the air force and the PW210-powered Sikorsky S-76D for the Navy Utility Helicopter program.
