PT6A-powered Pilatus PC-7 trainer operated by the Indian Air Force.
The F117 and PT6A engines power fleets of Boeing C-17 transport aircraft and Pilatus PC-7 trainers flown by the Indian Air Force. The C-17 has been used heavily in recent months for medical repatriation flights for India citizens during COVID-19. Pratt & Whitney offers a growing suite of sustainment solutions for engines large and small to support the Indian military.
The Indian Air Force and Navy are in the process of renewing several of their fleets. In consideration are the PW100-powered Airbus C295 light transport for the air force and the PW210-powered Sikorsky S-76D for the Navy Utility Helicopter program.
